Generations of experience, generations of perfecting an art
Coffee has become a bit of a boom industry in the past few decades. It's easier than ever to find a local coffee roaster making fantastic blends with delicious flavour profiles, but it's not always easy to find one with such an extensive lineage in coffee roasting.
Alfie & Co Coffee Roasters was launched in 2014 by Paul Equi, not on a whim or sudden interest in coffee, but as the continuation of a family legacy dating back to 1869.

From Tuscany..
Paul’s great-grandmother discovered that roasting coffee to her own flavour profile brought something truly special to every cup. Her busy hotel and café in the Apennine mountains soon became known for the warmth, character, and unforgettable taste in every cup loved by locals and visitors alike.
To Glasgow..
Her son, Alfie, Paul’s grandfather, carried that tradition to Scotland where he refined delicate roast profiles that stood the test of time, including favourites such as London 1965 and Barista 50. Still available today, and faithful to the original profiles, they prove that sometimes, things don't have to change.
To Killearn
Since 2014, Paul has carried on that legacy with Alfie & Co Coffee Roasters, named in honour of his grandfather who mentored him in the art of roasting. By blending traditional roast profiles with modern craft, the same love, care, and attention goes into every roast and every batch, ensuring you enjoy the very best coffee.
