Well, they say the best things come to those who wait. We think it's fair to say that this has been quite some wait!
As many of you will know, we were previously based in Forrest Street in Glasgow, just off London Road. That was the home of the roastery for a good number of years, but we felt that with the (alas, now closed) cafe in Drymen, it was time to move our operations closer together.
So it was that we by sheer luck, chance and blind fortune, found a fantastic location in Unit 1 of the Oakwood Garden Centre. Presented with an old barn filled with clutter, we poured heart, soul, sweat snot and tears into turning the first half of it into our new roastery.
The job is now complete (well, is it really ever complete? There's always something needing done!) and the proof was in the pudding, as we held our first coffee experience session at the new location on the 8th of March! It was a roaring success, and along with being open to the general public, we've been delighted with the support, interest and custom coming through our doors.
We can look out out front door and see directly onto the West Highland Way, we have the gorgeous scenery of Loch Lomond only ten more minutes away, and nestling just on the outskirts of Killearn, we have everything we could ever want, with an indulgent amount of tranquillity and peace!
If you haven't come to visit us in our new home yet, please do, we hope you'll be delighted with what you find!
